I'm stronger with her near me, than when I walk alone. A 'greater than the sum of my parts' kind of message.....

Acoustic, acoustic rock, modern folk, country folk
I'm more of a songwriter than a performer...it's the creative writing process I love. This is a collection of basement song demos I've assembled over the past few years. Most are pretty simple & straightforward, usually a couple of acoustic guitar tracks and vocal. I'll be adding songs as time allows. They tend to be family or nature-oriented, and focus on parenting, family life and related foibles. Hope you're into it. Also, I do commercial voice overs. If you're in need of a smooth baritone voice with distinctive tone and balance, I'd be yer guy. ;-) You can find me online at VoicesOnCall.com & Voice123.com. I'm also a freelance advertising/marketing copywriter, broadcast producer and strategist. Stop by my www.timperrycreative.com if you're so inclined! and Audio Production for Any Size Project

Lyrics
More Than What I Am Timothy A. Perry © 1/04/2007 Intro (sung slowly): Without you I’m a single voice. But with you I’m a choir. You always make me more than what I am. Verse 1: I wonder how my life would be if differently we met. If I had found the arms of someone else. I wonder if I’d find a love to make my soul forget The way you make me feel about myself. I think back to the early days And how there were so many ways We could’ve ended up upon a shelf. Chorus 1: Without you I’m an ember. But with you I’m a fire. You’re the one who makes me twice the man. Without you I’m a single voice. But with you I’m a choir. You always make me more than what I am. That what I am. Verse 2: When I was young I used to think there wasn’t any plan ‘Bout how my life was really s’posed to be. Didn’t see a need for any compass as I ran Cuz’ where I went was all the same to me. Still the voice was cuttin’ like a knife, Said, “lose your freedom, lose your life.” I couldn’t know what I was meant to see…. (that) Chorus 1: Without you I’m an ember. But with you I’m a fire. You’re the one who makes me twice the man. Without you I’m a single voice. But with you I’m a choir. You always make me more than what I am. Chorus 2: With you I’m a gemstone. But without you I’m a rock You’re the one who makes me think I can. Without you I’m a single bird. But with you I’m a flock. You always make me more than what I am. Bridge: You’re the breeze that lifts the feather. The hill that rolls the stone I’m stronger with you near me. Than when I walk alone….. Chorus 1: Without you I’m an ember. But with you I’m a fire. You’re the one who makes me twice the man. Without you I’m a single voice. But with you I’m a choir. You always make me more than what I am. Than what I am.
