I'm more of a songwriter than a performer...it's the creative writing process I love. This is a collection of basement song demos I've assembled over the past few years. Most are pretty simple & straightforward, usually a couple of acoustic guitar tracks and vocal. I'll be adding songs as time allows. They tend to be family or nature-oriented, and focus on parenting, family life and related foibles. Hope you're into it. Also, I do commercial voice overs. If you're in need of a smooth baritone voice with distinctive tone and balance, I'd be yer guy. ;-) You can find me online at VoicesOnCall.com & Voice123.com. I'm also a freelance advertising/marketing copywriter, broadcast producer and strategist. Stop by my www.timperrycreative.com if you're so inclined! and Audio Production for Any Size Project

Story behind the song
Who hasn't felt these ups and downs?
Lyrics
At The End Of The Day Timothy A. Perry © 2003 Verse 1: I remember when our love grew fast, Like new grass on the hill. (You said) "Love me more, right to the core," I smiled and said, "I will." But somehow understanding seemed to wither on the vine A subtle drought of carelessness, deepened over time. Instead of sowing seeds of trust to bloom in later years. We cultivated anger's weeds....and harvested the tears. Chorus 1: At the end of the day, with love slippin' outta sight. Remember, in our vows we said, "I do," and not "I might." I don't believe in giving up, but how do I stop the pain, When I know that I still love you, at the...end of the day. Verse 2: Since when did forgiveness Become something we once had? (You'd say,) "You're too loud and way too proud." I'd snarl and say, "Too bad." It hurts to think how many reasons we've both found to fight How many times we couldn't find a kiss to say goodnight. Instead of carving testaments of love into a tree. We'd turn the blade against ourselves...and watch the other bleed. Chorus 1: At the end of the day, with love slippin' outta sight. Remember, in our vows we said, "I do," and not "I might." I don't believe in giving up, but how do I stop the pain, When I know that I still love you, at the...end of the day. Bridge: I will not go down quietly. I will not play the part Of one content to live with this silence of the heart My hope will not die easily, it rises with the sun. But can we find forgiveness before all is said and done? Chorus 2: At the end of the day, when anger rules the night. Remember, in our vows we said, "I do," and not "I might." I don't believe in giving up, but how do we stop the pain? (I think) It starts with an "I love you," at the...end of the day.
