I'm more of a songwriter than a performer...it's the creative writing process I love. This is a collection of basement song demos I've assembled over the past few years. Most are pretty simple & straightforward, usually a couple of acoustic guitar tracks and vocal. I'll be adding songs as time allows. They tend to be family or nature-oriented, and focus on parenting, family life and related foibles. Hope you're into it. Also, I do commercial voice overs. If you're in need of a smooth baritone voice with distinctive tone and balance, I'd be yer guy. ;-) You can find me online at VoicesOnCall.com & Voice123.com. I'm also a freelance advertising/marketing copywriter, broadcast producer and strategist. Stop by my www.timperrycreative.com if you're so inclined! and Audio Production for Any Size Project

Lyrics
Let’s Roll Tonite! Timothy A. Perry © 12/12/2001 Verse 1: Leave the laundry, call the sitter. Lord, you look so right. The bills can wait for the deadline date Don’t you want a life? You’re what I want. You’re what I need. So darlin’ lemme bring you up to speed Why settle for a nibble when you really want a bite? Chorus: Let’s roll tonight!…pretty lady! Let’s roll… outta sight. Let’s roll… pretty baby! (break) And we’ll get it right! Verse 2: The phone is ringin’. The yard’s a mess Our dance card’s at the max Other voices steal our choices So let’s just spill the facts. S’not good for me. Or good for you Can’t sit thru another pay-per-view We need a shot of something stronger than domestic whine. Chorus: Let’s roll tonight!…pretty lady! Let’s roll… outta sight. Let’s roll… pretty baby! (break) And we’ll get it right! Verse 3: I close my eyes, and I’m twenty-five I see you standin’ at your mother’s door. Your kisses always turned me inside out Had me lookin’ for a little more. You climbed in my car, slid close to me You whispered, “darlin’ lemme bring you up to speed.” Twenty years gone, you still put my soul in flight. Bridge: It’s time to bolt, I’ll get some cash. You grab the keys, they’re on the dash. Let’s break ‘em loose, and not look back. Lay some rubber on this sleepy cul-de-sac.. Chorus: Let’s roll tonight!…pretty lady! Let’s roll… outta sight. Let’s roll… pretty baby! (break) And we’ll get it right! Repeat Chorus
