Live Ballad
I have been writing songs and fiddlin' with the guitar for years and years but only decided to put them together since my divorce. Now I am playing catch-up, revisiting these old (and some new) lyrics or melodies and finally bringing them together. I have hundreds of melodies and lyrics...and now as I match them up and put them out there I slowly realize that this is what I should have been doing all along, before life got in the way. Not looking at becoming a star but would like to write and record and perhaps market this vast collection of "music" I have in and around me and offer it to the world. Thanks for the listen. Loss Fer Words Copyright 2013 OpenMikeMusic v1 Tell me if I’m justified to add a little blues to the moral of my story, it just might help get my point across, while I’m at a loss. v2 ‘Cause I know I get mist-ified when I hear music playin’, blues notes say words I can't convey. What can I say? ch When Im atta loss fer words listen closely to the sound, I wear my heart on my guit'ar strings 'cause it’s better than the hurt, that comes flyin out my mouth, if I can't find the right words to say, so when I’m atta loss fer words, just let me be. Solo 1 v3 But now, when I play I play the notes and sing the words, not to hurt but only gauge, what my heart incurs each day, without you near, but I'm still here, . bridge it’s how I get my heart across, or keep my mouth from going off, perhaps I might be goin' soft, in my later years. Solo 2 ch When Im atta loss fer words listen closely to the song 'cause I wear my heart on my guit'ar strings. and it’s better than the hurt, that dances off my tongue when I can’t find the right words to say, when I'm atta loss for words, just let me play..
